About

Smart Com in collaboration with EIMV organizes a two-day event, HackElect, at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science in Ljubljana.

The goal is to produce the product with just enough features to satisfy early costumers, and provide feedback for future development. It will be a core artifact in an iterative process of idea prototyping. The final and complete set of features will only be designed and developed after considering feedback from the product’s initial users.

Moreover, you will also be mastering your skills, finding brilliant solutions to the given challenges, share good practices among participants & mentors, and strengthen the community.

Prize money that we offer:

  • 5.000 € for the winner’s team,
  • 3.000 € for the runner up team,
  • 2.000 € for the third place

and job opportunities for the ones who will prove themselves best.

At the event, there will be a creative setting with everything you need for a successful hackathon. Besides the food in the form of breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the day, there will be space for you to relax, think, and loosen up with the game of table football or darts.

Application will be open until 25 September 2017 by 15.00, but due to limited venue capacity attendance will be restricted to a maximum of 150 participants. Prior the registration please read HackElect Terms & Conditions.
